Critter Crooks

Critter Crook is a stealth game made using UE5 during Cameron William's Game Design for Unreal Engine course. The player plays as a raccoon stealing food from a suburban neighborhood as civilization has encroached on animal habitats, leading to less food sources for animals.
> Designed, pitched, and created GDD
> AI interactions (patrolling, chasing, sensing)
> Character animations
> Game mechanics created through blueprinting
> Interactive objects
> Level design and lighting
The level design concept features a constrained open-world level with patrolling AI enemies. The player can move trash cans to reach higher levels, takedown guard dogs, and collect food.
Later levels include:
>Indoor stealth sequences in houses
>Larger levels with more complex enemies
>Sound Design

A short pitch I made for the game with AI-generated images to show the intention of the art style, mechanics, and systems
A game design document made to show the intended features of the vertical and polished build
