Plateful of Panic!
Plateful of Panic (Renamed) is a game inspired by Overcooked and Diner Dash, using similar mechanics for creating and serving recipes. Using a tutorial from Code Monkey, I expanded upon the game by adding new recipes and methods on how to find ingredients around the kitchen. Made using Unity and C# coding. In this version, the player needs to serve as many orders as possible before the restaurant closes, and without making too many mistakes on orders.

The full multiplayer design is concepted here, with outdoor seating and NPC obstacles. New recipe and cooking style added with the challenge of delivering food to specific tables like in Diner Dash

The game features an ice-cream machine and fridge with the inclusion of desserts and drinks, not usually found in the Overcooked games. The challenge is for the player to get to navigate past NPCs and put trays or plates of orders together to serve to tables (like Diner Dash). By mixing the concepts from both games, I created a more complex and interactive restaurant game.

I scripted roaming AI vehicles and NPCs for the broader concept of having indoor and outdoor seating challenges, making the game world feel more real and expansive. The player needs to navigate past NPC obstacles to fulfill orders.
The game is meant to be multiplayer but needs to be adjusted to host LAN and WAN gameplay, coming soon as an update posted below!
